~ The 79th NY
National Regiment was established to promote and ensure
an accurate portrayal of the 79th NY Cameron Highlanders.
~ Membership in the National
Regiment provides an avenue for learning and sharing
information regarding the 79th NY.
~ National Regiment members are
encouraged to achieve a greater knowledge of the original
79th NY.
~ The 79th NY National creates a
fraternity among 79th NY reenactors across the United
States and abroad.
~ National members will be
welcome to participate in one another's ranks in a spirit
of friendship and comradeship.
~ The National Regiment will
join as one unit at events to insure our unified voice is
heard by those in charge.
~ The National Regiment will
adhere to and set standards of uniformity based on
criteria found in historical research and archeological
evidence.
~ The 79th NY National Regiment
is dedicated to honoring the memory of the original 79th
NY Cameron Highlanders.
